Dead crossing the river styx

poetry article on the river styx

Styx, dark with gloom,
Ruled by heroes intent
on going to unknown doom,
Death and turbulence,
Lost Memories all float there.
Hermes, messenger of the gods,
leading dead to homes in Tartaros.
We invoke you, wielder of the kerykeion,
to guide us safely over beautiful gray Styx.
