Druidawn Summer 2024 Online Workshop Schedule

 

WORKSHOP TIMES: 

​

Mornings 9:00am-12:00pm Mountain Time (gaming from 11:00-12:00 MDT) For students ages 7-11 

​

Afternoons 12:30pm-3:30pm Mountain Time (gaming from 2:30-3:30 MDT) For students ages 11+

​

These ONLINE workshops will be hosted in Skype and will include several breaks so kids can get up and run around in between activities. Students can arrive up to 60 minutes late if the workshops are too long for them. Also, age requirements are flexible, especially in the case of siblings who want to be together.

​

Minimum 5 students, maximum 13 students per session. Morning and afternoon groups might be merged if we don’t get at least 5 sign-ups per workshop.

​

COST PER WORKSHOP: $175.00

​

You can get a full refund of your payment if it turns out you need to cancel your workshop reservation by May 1st, 2024.  After May 1st, half refunds will be issued up until a week before your workshop begins.  After that point, there are no refunds for cancellations or missed workshop days.

1) June 17-21 Morning Session - Younger Kids      

DRAGONS AND MYSTIC CREATURES

Write and read stories and create works of art involving dragons and other mystical creatures. Design new mystic creatures to add to the world of Druidawn. Play a Druidawn quest where you try to befriend as many mystic creatures as possible. Includes all of our students' favorite activities like Auction, Speculation, and unique rewards.

 

2) June 17-21 Afternoon Session - Older Kids      

DRAGONS AND MYSTIC CREATURES

Write and read stories and create works of art involving dragons and other mystical creatures. Design new mystic creatures to add to the world of Druidawn. Play a Druidawn quest where you try to befriend as many mystic creatures as possible.  Includes all of our students' favorite activities like Auction, Speculation, and unique rewards.

 

3) June 24-28 Morning Session - Younger Kids      

GENERAL DRUIDAWN

Write and read stories and create works of art involving dragons and other mystical creatures. Design new mystic creatures to add to the world of Druidawn. Play a Druidawn quest where you try to befriend as many mystic creatures as possible. Includes all of our students' favorite activities like Auction, Speculation, and unique rewards.

 

4) June 24-28 Afternoon Session - Older Kids     

THRILLS AND CHILLS

A horror and suspense workshop where we practice writing scary and suspenseful stories, play a mini-quest set in a scary remote rural town, learn about famous monsters and watch scary movie scenes.

5) July 8-12 Morning Session - Younger Kids

9) July 22-25 SPECIAL IN-PERSON 4-DAY SESSION!       

YOUNG ADULT WRITERS (Ages mature 12+)

Location: Westminster Colorado

Cost: $240.00 

Time: 9:30am-3:30pm Mountain Time

Includes writing time, sharing and critique, deep discussions and debate, writing lectures, recess and lunch at the park, and Druidawn gaming. Students must bring their own lunches and snacks. It is possible to participate in this workshop via Skype if a student can't make it in person. Email us for details!

10) July 29-August 2 Morning Session - Younger Kids     

SPECTRA PRIME

A science-fiction based workshop where we design alien races, spaceships, high-tech weapons, practice gaming on an alien world, and work together on developing the game rules for this new science fiction version of Druidawn called Spectra Prime.

 

11) July 29-August 2 Afternoon Session - Older Kids      

SPECTRA PRIME

A science-fiction based workshop where we design alien races, spaceships, high-tech weapons, practice gaming on an alien world, and work together on developing the game rules for this new science fiction version of Druidawn called Spectra Prime.
